Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Da!

I tied dry flies
Long before I sipped Mai Tais.
I’ve sat and spat out a black knat.
An imitation to be sucked in by speckled trout.
Or left on stream bank thistle.
I derive more pleasure in doing that
Than in the rite of wetting whistle.
